Connect your Instagram business or creator profile to Later, then enable Best Time To Post.
We run analysis based on your previous posts published via Later. To give you the best suggestions, we’ll need at least 50 posts over the last 6 months, excluding the past 2 weeks.
We give you up to 7 recurring weekly time slots when your followers are most engaged. They’ll appear on your Calendar for easy scheduling.
Once you know your ideal posting times, you can schedule content by dragging and dropping media into the optimal time slots. Remember to keep optimizing – the more you post, the smarter Later gets!

FAQ
Later’s Best Time to Post feature only works with Business or Creator profiles.
Carousel posts (otherwise known as Multi-Photo posts) cannot be Auto Published. Bummer, we know. The Instagram API doesn’t allow automatic publishing for certain post types, and Multi-Photo posts fall in that category.
But remember: you can still use Later to edit, perfect, and schedule Multi-Photo posts through Notification Publishing.
Enabling Best Time To Post must be done on desktop first. We recommend setting your best times to post as Quick Schedule times—that way you can schedule at your best times to post in the mobile Later app.
